reading the 1001

1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die, that is. Some of you may have this book. I bought it a few years ago with the sole intention of finding some good things to read. Then I got the idea of actually reading all the books listed thanks to The Know-it-All by A.J. Jacobs (about his reading the Encyclopedia Britannica). This week I'll finish Franz Kafka's The Castle, which will be my 123rd book (I think). Kafka's not the easiest person to read, and I'm ready to be done with this one.
